Adaptation of “The Sims” Video Game Series
Popular video game series “The Sims” is being adapted into a movie, with director Kate Herron and Margot Robbie as producer. The successful series “Sex Education” and “Loki” director Herron will be writing the screenplay with Briony Redman.
The film will be produced by LuckyChap Productions, who have already had success with “Barbie” and “Saltburn”. Vertigo Entertainment and Electronic Arts are also involved.
Success of “The Sims”
“The Sims” is one of the most successful video games worldwide, with over 200 million copies sold. It remains to be seen whether the film will be animated or live-action, and which details from the game will be included.
